Our Studio

Zuhause is a boutique architecture and design studio. We create elegant places to live, work and experience. From stylish, period properties to luxury homes designed for a contemporary lifestyle, Zuhause incorporates distinctive details, infuses spaces with light and integrates sustainable design.

Our Offering

Zuhause offer a personalised service to discerning clients who seek exceptional quality and attention to detail.  Our creative process involves a collaboration between client and designer. Working closely with clients, ensures our design is informed by the demands and aspirations of their lifestyle. This relationship is at the heart of our design.

Good design can improve the quality of our lives. With this in mind, we sensitively refurbish period properties for contemporary living, design timeless new buildings including subterranean extensions under houses or gardens. We have experience gaining planning consent on listed buildings and complex new works.

Interior Design

All spaces can be enhanced and made unique. From period refurbishments to reconfiguring entire spaces to adapt to modern living, we forge new techniques and finishes to create exceptional places. Luxury kitchens, bathrooms, and joinery are all designed with the specific needs of our clients in mind. Concealing sophisticated lighting and audio-visual schemes maintain the integrity of the design.

Furniture and Lighting Commissions

Some spaces we design require bespoke lighting or furniture. Working closely with professional craftsmen we use natural and innovative materials to shape individual pieces. Recent commissions include dining tables, beds, chandeliers, chairs, beds and occasional furniture.
